Summary
Jimin is a reputed Kendo champion who is in a slump now after losing in a string of championships. He is knee-deep in scandals, his professional life is pitiable, & his personal life is non-existent. He feels empty inside & it takes a toll on him.
Advised by his friends, he takes some time off and stumbles across a rustic bookshop in his hometown. There he finds a book about Emperor Min, the greatest swordsman that ever existed in the history.
Despite the owner's warnings not to open books without his supervision, Jimin's curiosity gets the best of him. Before he realizes it, he is falling into an abyss and wakes up in the arms of none other than Emperor Min himself!
"Teach me how to fight," Jimin says, running his hands over the beautifully etched scabbard.
Emperor Min laughs, making him scowl.
“Petal, Yielding a sword is not something every man can do”
“That's why I am asking you to teach me. Who else would I ask, if not the greatest swordsman to exist?”
“You don't expect me to teach you for free, do you, petal?” He asks, approaching Jimin languidly, making his heart thump.
