Summary
The night before Normal leaves for college is also Hermie's last night with his high school boyfriend. They try and fail to 'go all the way'. Growing up and living life happens, and 16 years later the two are drawn together once again.
Characters are aged up to 18 in Ch 1, will be mid 30s in Ch 2.
The songs Hermie references are from "A Strange Loop" and "Heathers"- both shows are chock full of triggers so I'll just say research at your own risk. If you don't care to, just know Hermie is affirming to himself that the vibes of his current situation are bad.

Summary
A continuation of to Where We Came From.
Per Will Campos, things don't start looking up for Normal until after the reunion. A lot of things haven't worked out- his relationship with Hermie, his first run at college, his attempts at dating other people. The night of the reunion, the spark re-ignites between him and Hermie and without so many words, and Normal hesitantly gives in to the desire to give it another go. The road is bumpy and full of swings and roundabouts.
