Description:

In the early morning hours of 17 October at a temple deep in the Plegian desert, a child named Ashe was born. His birth marked the beginning of the end for the human race, and it would only be a matter of time before he would become one with the fell dragon, Grima, and claim his place as a god, a fate preordained many centuries ago.

His mother, fearful of what's to come, spirits him away to Fódlan, where he grows up not with a hunger for power and death and destruction, but with aspirations of knighthood and chivalry. He is courteous to all he meets, a kind soul through and through despite his hardships. He's determined to become the ideal knight he's always dreamed of and protect those he cares about.

But sometimes the brightest stars will burn so bright that it blinds others to their inner darkness, and what will happen when destiny comes calling?

Notes:

This is an AU in which Ashe takes the place of Awakening's Avatar. Each story will follow the same canon except where noted, should that possibility come up. Chronology is all over the place. Associated works are not officially a part of the AU, but are compliant with the AU's "canon", as it were
