Description:

When Ken “Okarun” Takakura, a second year ornithologist-in-training and amateur cryptozoologist from Tokyo University is hired as a field technician on the island of Yakushima, he expects a quiet summer alone on the mountain with time to research Yakushima's local bird cryptid. That expectation is shattered when he meets Momo Ayase, a shrine maiden with a fiery personality. While navigating a budding friendship, Momo must keep dangerous secrets from Ken that threaten to endanger their lives and tear their friendship apart.
