He had done it on impulse and out of habit, which is why he was taken aback for a moment by Clara's flushed cheeks. [...] Iruma, usually always very attentive during lessons, was unable to stay focused until the end of the lesson taught by Kalego. A strange drowsiness had overtaken him, his eyes continued to half-close, his head looked like a balloon floating on the waters of a calm sea. The harsh, ferrous taste of a drop of Clara's blood printed on the tip of his tongue, a slight nausea setting in".
Basically Iruma is feeling very very bad when he's in contact with demon's blood.

Let's say, uhm, if a cold isn't treated properly, or there's some virus going around, things like that". Opera's tail stopped its slight undulating movement, stopping in mid-air. The cat demon's back stiffened, "... Illness, you said?" Opera repeated slowly. Iruma nodded, satisfied that he had managed to explain in a way that a demon could understand an illness that was apparently unknown to them".
Basically Iruma has a fever and a bunch of unresolved traumas.

A tremor spread across the cat demon's shoulders and arms. Opera turned pale despite their fever at the sight of the trolley being brought to their bed"
Basically a day when Opera and Sullivan are sick so Iruma takes care of them.
