Summary
An intensely canon-compliant humanized Voldemort's POV of his life throughout both wars, with flashbacks to his younger years. Centered around his relationship with Bellatrix, and his journey with love, family, and grief, but very all-encompassing and inclusive of everything and everyone I could think of.
The Voldemort we see in words—from Dumbledore, from Harry—is not the Voldemort we see in actions. How do we bridge the gap between the Voldemort that Dumbledore claims has no idea what friendship is and the Voldemort that calls his Death Eaters his family when they’re not even present? gives Bella a piece of his soul? drags her by hand out of the Ministry? is clearly liked as a person at least somewhat by his followers? has at least one person willing to physically care for him for nearly a year? has multiple people willing to go to Azkaban for life for the chance to have him back?
Voldemort is not the person Dumbledore thinks (or claims to think, so that Harry will kill himself) he is at all, but is a human being with human emotions and human thoughts and human relationships, however unique.

“If you get it right, I’ll kiss you,” you say. He gives you an admonishing look before picking up the teacup and examining it carefully.
“I have no fucking idea,” he says eventually. “Dirt?”
“A horse head,” you correct after checking. “A lover. I guess ‘cause you’re in love with me.”
“Are you deluded?”
“It’s Divination. You’ve gotta be.”
Royal laughs. His eyes are the same pure blue as the cloudless sky behind him.
“You are just looking at my hands and hallucinating,” he says, splaying out his fingers between you, the silver horse head and horseshoe on either thumb. His nails are painted a pearlescent white. You grab your camera from the grass beside you to take a picture of them.
“Or you wear those ‘cause you’re in love with me,” you say.
“What does that even mean? How would I have possibly known you would start making this shit up?”
“Maybe if you learnt Divination.”

Summary
POV of Peter Pettigrew from 1975-Nov 1 1981, set in the universe of Keep My Candle Burning. Bellamort, gay Rodolphus, humanized Voldemort, the crushing and unending passage of time... you know the drill
Peter straddles two worlds, between the Marauders and the Potters and the Order, and Voldemort and his inner circle, and is slowly drawn away from the first and toward the second. The story is heavily focused on the last few months of the war, in which Peter becomes steadily more disillusioned with anti-Voldemort efforts and spirals into an increasingly unreliable narrator, drawing unsupported and even impossible conclusions about the nature of others' relationships and the reality of the war.

She was devouring, her golden-taloned hands laid on his robed chest as though pressed to the floor in worship before a deity, his own like large, pale spiders on her either hip. Her long hair rippled over her shoulders, the crimson backlight giving it the appearance of being aflame . . .
She was warm, too warm, her consuming breath, her incandescent hands . . . He placed his own on the small of her back, and her spine was as delicate and finely carved as the bones of a newborn bird, her skin alive in the scorch of the fire . . . The sensations inside him were mounting . . .
