Promptober 2025! One prompt, two interpretations: the first day is "bitter" (angst, whump, a downer, etc), but the second day is "sweet" (clue, fluff, silly).

Notes:

The idea for doing two stories for one prompt came about when I had a fic idea and couldn't decide if I wanted to write a whump-y omegaverse fic about it or a silly non-omegaverse fic. Of course I ended up writing both (though they're still WIPs at the time of writing this), but it sounded like a fun challenge to try for this Promptober.
