In truth, San's known how much Hongjoong likes him five steps ahead of Hongjoong admitting it. He's wondered, at times, if the reticence turned out to be long-lasting, whether he would settle anyway, for how nice it is to have his little, private understanding of Hongjoong in spite of it. Then, spring into summer, Hongjoong opened up to him like a flower. He folded him into his life so determinedly it makes San’s heart hurt to think about for too long.
