Summary
We can have a conversation, hunter," the vampire in front of him says, still lurking in the shadows. Jason hears the soft footfalls of the vampire's feet getting closer and closer; most people would be scared—terrified even—at the thought of being stalked like prey, but Jason invites it with something that Jason can't place. The feeling in his gut is unfamiliar but his hand is still gripping the stake at his hip, one that gets knocked out of his hand as the vampire gets close. "Ah, ah, ah," the vampire chides, suddenly as visibile as ever, "Like humans, hunter. I won't hurt you unless you give me a reason. And that stake is a reason for me to hurt you."

Summary
He'd just about settled when he felt Jason's hands exploring him, leaning slightly into the touch as Jason's hands roamed absent mindedly. In his tired stupor, Dick couldn't help but notice Jason's hard on. It had been nestled in the small of Dick's back while Jason had his hands exploring. There's a slight shuffle and the sound of ruffling through a drawer in the nightstand that had Dick aware of exactly what Jason had been doing.
The flip of a cap helped cement it as well.

Jason can't even dignify him with an answer, not when his alpha is begging him to claim the omega in front of him. Dick could see him fighting to hold back his instincts to claim the omega in front of him. "You got me, you know? You don't gotta fight it so hard." To cement this, Dick releases some content pheromones into the air--ones to try and communicate to Jason's alpha that Dick's omega was more than content with helping. In fact, Dick's omega was reeling in delight at the thought.

Summary
"Nightwing?" Barbara says, but he can't bring himself to respond. There's too many things racing through his mind. Barbara was the first to mention it, giving him options on what they can do to get over the hurdle, but more people in the family probably saw it too. The mortification of knowing that his younger brothers probably saw the headlines hit hard in the moment.
"Dick? Are you okay?"
In that moment, Dick couldn't help but cry. "Fuck that prick," Dick says, ripping the communicator out of his ear. He has half a mind to chuck it off the side of the building, but doesn't. Instead, he switches it off and puts it right beside him. Same with the tracker in his domino mask.
He just wanted to be alone.

He knows he has limited time to explain, so he tries his best to explain in vague words that–in the event that he gets walked in on by one concerned alpha–won’t reveal his one secret he’d been hiding. “Kori, I think I miscalculated,” Dick says, “I don’t have enough patches.”
After he says that, Jason opens the door to the hotel room like clockwork and Dick is relieved that the main point of their conversation got told before he made an appearance in the room. Dick can’t help but look at Jason, who’d worn his concern on his face so clearly that Dick was beginning to feel bad for not telling him what’s properly going on.

Summary
Dick can’t help but notice his brain is foggy and his body still feels heavy. He’s slumped against the window slightly, barely able to process what just happened. It felt like it all happened quite fast, in an spectacularly explosive way; one moment Dick is drinking his whiskey and then the next Jason’s knocking the daylights out of someone, yelling about roofies and for the guy who tried to lead him out of the club to get the fuck out before he kills him.
Jason keeps looking back at him through the rearview and it burns—his gaze burns in an unexplainable way that Dick can’t even being to put into words. He knows Jason means well. He didn’t do anything wrong at all and Dick knows that, but the predicament in of itself made Dick feel so ashamed that he didn’t even want to be perceived. Jason shouldn’t have had to save him. That entire point kept circling around his head, driving Dick mad.
