When Whitaker had started talking about going home for Thanksgiving for the first time in years, he'd seemed so excited. That was why it was such a shock when Robby finally got his first chance to sit down and check his email, and he saw the notification on the new virtual scheduling software Al-Hashimi had set up in his absence.

Summary
He cut himself off before he could do something stupid, like share what he was actually thinking: that the residual sensation of Robby’s harsh touch was still lighting up his skin all over. Or, that, until last night, he had been convinced that his pleasure was locked up like medication in a child-proof container, to be dispensed at the exclusive whims of the only other person who had ever been able to access it. That maybe bad sex could feel good, that he liked being the agent of his own injury, but that it would never approximate the shameful, defiant pleasure of someone taking that choice away from him.
