Summary
A tip from a fellow hunter leads Sue Numan, a 22-year old hunter with supernatural empathic abilities, to a small town with an old legend about the dead rising at midnight every hundred years. Since her regular hunting buddy is tied up somewhere else, she decides to call John Winchester, the man who saved her life many years ago, for backup. When the call connects it's not John who answers, but his son Dean.
What begins as a single hunt turns into a long road shared, as Sue joins the brothers in their search for John Winchester and sticks around after he's found. Despite telling herself that she's immune to Dean Winchester's charms at first, she finds herself developing feelings for him over time. But things are never easy when it comes to the Winchesters, especially for a young woman who feels everything they don't talk about.
This is an OC/Dean story that will (eventually) span all fifteen seasons. I’ll be diverging from canon where it makes sense, but I’m doing my best to stay true to the overall storyline. It's a slow burn, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Castiel Shurley has the same face of the vampire that turned him into a vampire over a hundred years ago and he feels drawn to the other man by some force that he can’t explain.

Dean burst out of the ground. His veins felt like fire, and his first breath of air since death was sour on his lungs.
Being topside again only plagued him with thoughts of his actions in Hell, confusion as to what brought him back, or why anything would. He was where he deserved to be.Castiel tried convincing him otherwise.
Castiel, who entered the pit and held Dean's soul, lets it be known to Dean that he is worthy of salvation- worthy of defying his fate of being diminished to nothing but a vessel. These were the first moments Castiel allowed himself to feel. The start of his fall began with the saving of Dean Winchester, his guide to humanity. The Righteous Man taught him empathy, the mark on his shoulder being the bite of the apple. Because in learning to appreciate the earth and all which breathed within it, Castiel became more than what he was created for.Years later, Dean's stuck in his own pit of self-wallow. His whole life, just one giant performance to bring about destruction, ends with the author dead.

Somehow winding up in "2008" after an abandoned funeral home makes calls across town, he'll perform how he must to save Castiel from the Empty. -
