Jonny has been questioning his gender lately and his ever-so supportive older brother tells him he should try doing/wearing more feminine things to allay his dysphoria. This story is what happens when he decides to finally try on a skirt.
This fic was written for one of my friends in the Radiohead Circle Jerk Discord Server who requested it! They didn’t ask me to write it specifically, but it was such an interesting idea that I just had to! They also wrote aanal wonderful Doctor!Jonny x Patient!Thom fic here, so give them some love!!! They’re also working on fanart for this as we speak :3
This is in the same universe as the (still-unfinished) ‘Jewels’, but probably about nine months to a year before ‘Jewels’. Think them just coming off the heels of a big tour supporting ‘Pablo Honey’ in late 1993 (long hair Jonny, long blonde hair Thom).
I tried writing a transfeminine Jonny as accurately as I could describe, but I am, in fact, not a trans woman, so I’m sure there are some inaccuracies regarding transfemme gender dysphoria in it. She's not fully a trans woman, per se, but on the transfemme spectrum (think like she/they pronouns). ANYWAYS, I hope you enjoy and happy Pride Month everyone! <3333

As the title implies, this is related to my other work, Anecdotes on the Road to Love, but the tone and subject matter go a lot darker than I want that work to go, and I wanted to write and put it out there anyway. I lost my grandmother, who was like a second mom to me, about two years ago now, and while I was in the thick of grieving her, I ended up having some suicidal ideation. Channeling and expressing them by writing about Kirishima having some similar and some different feelings felt like a safe way to explore those thoughts. I'm doing much better now, but mind the tags if it's too much for you right now.
