Summary
Dean Winchester, best damn HR Manager ever, has a tough job to do. His only relief is the moment he can leave work and blast his classic rock at top volume. But after a particularly difficult day, AC/DC does nothing to calm his frayed nerves when he has to fire a good employee who doesn't deserve her fate. Stretched almost to the breaking point with nothing to relax him, Dean unexpectedly hears a distant piano playing from somewhere nearby. He knows nothing of classical music, or the person playing it, but he's immediately comforted by the melancholy piece. What he doesn't realize, is that the famous concert pianist responsible for the music, Castiel Milton, is equally charmed by the the classic rock music drifting through his own windows and the voice of the man who puts a lot of heart into singing along every day. Through a chance encounter, Dean and Castiel discover more to love than just their music.

Summary
Dean Winchester’s been camp manager of a science research station on the Alaskan tundra for thirteen years. Dean likes his job; fixing the camp trucks, troubleshooting the generators, keeping clueless undergrads and NSF bigwigs from walking into grizzly bears or getting lost in snowstorms — it’s all in a day’s work. It keeps him pretty busy, and this year his brother Sam's visiting too, so he's even busier. So it’s really not any of Dean’s business when some weirdo antisocial ornithologist sets up a tent a few miles away, a dark-haired blue-eyed guy who’s doing a “very long-term" study on birds or wings or something, and who never, ever takes off his big lumpy backpack. But then the new guy starts dropping by camp for coffee and... well, he’s not officially part of camp; he's not Dean’s responsibility; he’s really not Dean’s problem at all, but when a strange blizzard comes sweeping in, Dean gets worried and goes to check. Thing is, Dean's spent years in the sweeping vistas of the Arctic. He knows all about the midnight sun and the northern lights, the ice caves and avalanches, the rough-and-ready Haul Road truckers and the even rougher-and-readier wild animals. But even so, what he finds is much more than he bargained for.

Bookmarker's Notes
One of my absolute favorite fic writers!
Notes to self (these and my tags have MAJOR spoilers): Slow burns are so frustrating to me, but this author does them so well and always makes them totally worth it. Smut starts in Chapter 19 and Castiel tells us his story in Chapter 24. OH GOD the suspense in Chapters 26 - 33. I'm glad the archangel blade was not the only effective weapon in Chapter 32 compared to its canon function in Season 13; also, holy snowball fights? Sweet. I absolutely love Junco and the fantastic, clever end to this fic, ohmygoodness.
Sorry for so many Bookmarker's Tags and Notes too! I do this to alot of my Bookmarks because sometimes I get bored and like to filter random things I haven't read in a while...

"...Dean felt a weirdly meditative peace steal over him, as if he were positioned on a perfect balance-point somewhere between passion and a hypnotic trance. Gazing up at Cas outlined against the trees and the sky, Dean felt a flush of amazement steal over him.
My angel, he thought. My very own angel."

Bookmarker's Notes
One of my favorite fic writers!
-sigh- I just love how easy Dean and Cas' first meeting fell into place (I'm jealous lol). Gabriel and Charlie are quite lovely too and it's not only their banter, but also Cas and Dean's that flows so smoothly - it's quite pleasant and amusing! Everything about this fic was almost relaxing in the sense that life truly could be as smooth as this Destiel if we'd all learn to just take a step back and enjoy the sweeter things. God I wish there had been more!!
Note to self: the last chapter of the story is actually chapter 9 and chapter 10 is for the author's references, notes, etc.

"Dean pretends to look at the menu, but he's really watching Castiel's hands. Seeing them up close is a whole new experience bordering on future kink. The blunt nails, carefully cut and filed, the long fingers, the delicate way he holds the pencil, the pronounced veins. Dean seriously doesn't know what he'd do if Castiel touched him with those skillful hands. Since he's a piano player, they're probably really strong, too. 'Do not pop a boner while ordering sushi' [he thinks]. It just ain't the polite thing to do." Haha

Summary
Dean/Cas Big Bang 2016
Accounts Manager Dean Winchester and CPA Castiel Novak have been working at the same large company for several months, only interacting through office IM. Then a typo on an expense report leads to an unexpected phone call that results in a simmering crush on both ends of the line, despite neither knowing what the other looks like. Office romances typically never work out, especially when one of them has a slightly bad (though undeserved) reputation, and the other has a slightly bad track record with lovers. But their first face-to-face meeting at the company Christmas party makes them both willing to give it a go. Through a whirlwind romance, Dean wonders if they're moving too fast, and Castiel worries that he's opening himself up for another devastating heartbreak. Together, it turns out that sometimes good things do happen.

Just. Just....yes. So sweet. So cute. The smut is just right and there's no angst as promised. This fic was a wonderful feel-good story; I keep wanting to know more and more about these characters' pasts and their bright, hopeful futures. So lovely.

Summary
Dean Winchester is Perfect: successful lawyer, loving husband, talented athlete. At least, that what the genetic engineers who tampered with his genes before his birth said he was supposed to be. When Dean's perfect world comes crashing down around him, he has to deal with the difference between who he is on paper, and who he is in the real world. As Dean watches his brother fight against his genetic heritage, and his new boss begrudgingly submit to his, Dean wonders if what's on paper is really so perfect after all.
