Summary
"His birth was a cruel joke upon the world. His life was bad jokes at every turn. Caprice tried to make the jokes himself but he can't seem to get rid of the hot breath over the back of his neck, feeling a dark presence stalking him from the shadows his entire life. He soon learns that he and fate don't quite share the same sense of humor."
The dynamic with Glasya could have been explored so much more. Plus the undertones of abuse and the sexually charged nature of her being, We could not leave it, or Caprice, alone. We were possessed by the spirit of Glasya.
