"Just a scratch.” Mikey caught his reflection and winced. And he’d thought Raph’s eye looked bad... But the sting merely highlighted a realization.
This didn’t happen last time.
As he glanced back toward Leo, who curled up with jagged breaths and eyes pinched shut, a determination settled in Mikey. Just like how they changed things for Casey’s timeline, the events of these time loops weren’t set in stone.

I have dived too deep into Playtime Co.'s lore as well as everything I can find about The Doctor bc I'm obsessed with this former-human's mysterious backstories and gold character writing, and now that I'm writing this piece of literature like a nerd in their own little bubble with their OCxchar bullshit when people nowadays skip the slowburn and romance, just dig into old men yaoi smut. I'm not judging that, read what you want. I'll continue writing until the title makes sense.
