There's a woman on the staircase Yuno hasn't ever seen before, which is unusual but should ultimately be fine. It would be fine if not for the fact that there's something about this woman that feels like she's just been punched in this face by the lack of... of something that she doesn't understand. That she didn't even know she was lacking. She stares on in abject horror, and before she even feels it building up, she's screaming her lungs out.

Or; on the feelings we don't understand, and what they might turn into.

“Chainsaw,” says Fraser.
“Massacre,” says Kowalski.
“Closet,” says Fraser.
“What kinda question is that,” says Kowalski, suddenly dangerous.
“Oh, it’s nothing untoward, it’s just that if I say closet, another person might say ‘brooms,’ and another person might say… ‘carpentry,’” Fraser explains.
“Well, and I might say you’re losing your mind,” Kowalski bites back.
What is that? Why would anyone write that? I still don’t know the answer.

"Ah, my love," the angel murmurs. "Alright. Save him another way. Come on, next time. We'll save him, you and I."
It wraps Todd in an embrace. Todd wants to spit but has no energy to crawl away. It's not really for him anyway; the angel has always enjoyed touching humans. To its credit it is thinking, thinking hard about how to save the lamb of Dalton. It loves the poets and had seen this as a gift, infinite chances to undo a death, albeit chances undertaken alone, by the most suitable candidate. But so far it seemed to have caused more harm than good.
//an angel or something like it tries to help todd avert neil's death. it should be simple, if not easy or painless. it turns out to be none of these things. neil seems intent on dying whatever todd does. the angel seems to understand things exclusively too little or too much. and todd is breaking open. or perhaps just breaking.

The Witch Who Would Not Break - A Psychological Portrait of Winifred Sanderson by TheTVJunkie

Summary
This work offers a psychological analysis of Winifred Sanderson, examining how temperament, trauma, cultural oppression, and identity shaped her into one of the most compelling figures in modern witch mythology.
Through developmental psychology, historical context, and character driven interpretation, the case study explores how a brilliant, intense, deeply sensitive and often terribly misunderstood woman became both feared and iconic — and why queer audiences recognise her as one of their own.
It is a study of survival, identity, and the fierce resilience of a woman who refused to break.
