Summary

Draco Malfoy is an Auror working a job he chose. The Ministry assigns him to be a "civilian contact". His mission is to watch Hermione and keep her safe until the Ministry can figure out how to pull the secrets out of her fractured memories.
But the life they had rebuilt started to fall apart when the Carrow siblings surfaced, hunting for a "Time-Anchor" hidden somewhere in her memory. As the past begins to catch up with them, Draco realizes that forgetting the war was easy; the hard part will be Hermione realizing that her new life is built on his deception.

“Whatever I want?” His voice was hushed and deep, and she felt it in her bones.
“Yes,” she whispered, and did her best to still the fear and sick thrill of anticipation that had sparked inside her.
“Alright, Granger,” he said with a smirk, and then spoke in a low voice. “You’ve got yourself a deal.”
She had no idea what she had just agreed to.
