Summary
Utahime Iori is a cynic writer whose blog, "The Unattached Life," is a bitter manifesto against men. That is, until she meets her new gynecologist: a ridiculously handsome, kind doctor who makes her so flustered she might have embarrassed her whole bloodline. After the mortifying appointment, she receives an email from her editor where she's given an ultimatum to write something bold or get fired.
Fuelled by spite, she publishes a steamy, fictionalized account of her visit which goes viral. Now she has to deal with the fallout of her lie, a real-life crush on the man she publicly objectified, and the terrifying realization that her "unattached life" might be the one thing she actually wants to lose.

Summary
A face appears in his line of vision, blurry at first, then slowly becoming crystal clear.
“Ada,” he breathes, and suddenly, like a picture coming into sharp focus, it all comes back to him.
He’s home. He’s safe. He’s with her.
He’s not in Spain.
There isn’t a parasite slowly eating at him from the inside, not anymore.
(Or: The healing process comes with its own setbacks. Luckily, Leon doesn't have to face it alone.)

Summary
“Am I supposed to just wait around for you then?”
Ada can see it so clearly in that moment, every question he has ever thought of but never voiced aloud, all rushing to the surface at once, all screaming the one fact she was too blind—willfully or otherwise—to face: that these mortal attachments, these petty sentimentalities other people indulge in and she scoffs at, they were always meant to lead toward a particular destination. The strings bound both ways, and the carousel never did quite spin endlessly.
Would that she had the answer Leon wanted to hear.
(Or: For Leon and Ada, what looks like the end is merely the beginning. Sometimes, in order to fix something, you have to take it apart first.)
