Summary
Cody sits down across from Obi-Wan and reaches over the table to ruffle his downy hair. His hand is immediately shaken off. Obi-Wan curls his lips at him and sinks his attention deep into the pad. Cody watches him for another few seconds before standing and announcing that he has work to do, so Obi-Wan will need to entertain himself.
“Leave the medics be,” he orders.
“You’re not the boss of me,” Obi-Wan snaps.
“I outrank you, little man,” Cody says. “Never forget.”
Obi-Wan stares at him and Cody stares right back all the way until the door closes. Through it, Cody hears the muffled call:
“I’m not little.”

Summary
After the plot to kidnap the Chancellor goes sideways, all Cad wants is time to lick his wounds in peace. What he gets is Jango Fett, fresh from crawling out of his grave and collapsed on Cad's doorstep.
That alone would be bad enough, but where there's trouble, there's always a Jedi close behind, and Obi-Wan Kenobi isn't about to let Cad sort this out without adding a whole new pile of problems on top.

At this point, Sam’s scanning the coffeeshop for an exit strategy from this terrible date; maybe he can trip a customer into spilling coffee on one of them, or pretend like he’s seen a friend, something, anything. His eye lands on the white guy sitting at the table behind Mike, directly in Sam’s line of sight, but not visible to Mike himself. And okay, hello, stranger. He’s gorgeous, and he’s looking up from the stack of papers on his table, right at Sam. Hot Stranger’s thick-lashed blue eyes are wide, and a pen is dangling from his fingers as if the nonsense happening at Sam’s table has shocked him into interrupting his work.
What the fuck, mouths Hot Stranger.
Sam's on a first date that starts weird and only gets weirder. Thankfully, there's a hot bystander who's ready to be a hero and save Sam from the horrors of app-based dating.
