In a cold, dark alley, my normally curly and voluminous hair was soaked in the rain, and I lay hopelessly leaning against a wall, crying. It was my fault, it was all my fault. I don't care what they say, they can say it wasn't my fault all they want. I lost her, I lost the girl I loved forever.

Varian sets off on a life changing adventure to complete his mother's work. Along the way, he makes new friends, new enemies, and maybe something a little bit more than a friend. Throughout his journey there is only one question on his mind though. What ever did happen to his mother Ulla?
