Then you’d sent him out into the world with a final kiss pressed to his cheek, thinking you’d passed through the storm successfully. Stupid you. The East Wind might’ve passed, but there’s three other directions and a multitude of evils out there, and Sherlock’s really, really good at finding those damn evils. He attracts them.
