"Ant said you bled, again," George said.
"As usual," Karl rolled his eyes.
"I got another one too, up the forearm," George showed him the shimmer of white. "What the fuck are they doing Karl?"
"Don't know," Karl said snappishly, though his attitude wasn't really geared towards George rather his general annoyance at the situation. "Don't care."
"Karl," George called.
"No, I hate them," Karl said adamantly. "It's not a coincidence anymore and they're making my life really hard."
"I suppose," George said.
"Until we get an explanation, they're assholes," Karl nodded. "Three times. Punz said it, three times in the last- two weeks?"

When your soulmate bleeds, you bleed. Just the visuals. You don't get hurt, you don't feel the pain, but for a second there, you will know that they're going through, and as soon as it happens, the blood disappears.
Now, when you're a surgeon and your soulmate bleeds every time you have a trauma come in (such as a drive-by shooting and other crime-related stuff) you tend to question what the hell they're doing with their lives. And if they have some kind of involvement in the traumas.

Day 7: Soulmate AU and Weapons
"Who's that?" Dream heard Sapnap ask from the driver's seat.
"Bad, Sap, meet Goggles," Dream sighed. "World-class sniper, asshole criminal, and my soulmate. Apparently."
"What?" Dream heard his two teammates exclaim.
"You still have me on your file as codename Goggles?" George snickered. "Tell me you can't hunt down a sniper without telling me you can't hunt down a sniper," George mumbled sarcastically.
"Yeah okay," Dream rolled his eyes before loading his gun and shooting it in George's direction again.
The rules were very easy. Simply put, soulmates are not able to physically harm each other. Not fatally anyway. No punching, no hitting, no weapons as well including knives, guns, not even a baseball bat. Rules are still unclear about second-hand injuries like drowning and tripping, you know, convenient accidents.
Most of the time, this works out very well for people. You wouldn't want to fatally harm your soulmates.
But then again, most people weren't snipers whose soulmates are special agents that are out to get them.

It's been a month.
They'd been on a few streams together, recorded something for Bad's channel, and spoken in group chats with each other. Besides that, no contact. George thinks it's the longest they've ever gone without addressing each other directly.
So, when he opens his email one random morning, he can't help but burst out laughing.

Quackity sighs, “I mean I can see the appeal, he smells okay even though I’m a beta and can’t really tell. I’ve had a few projects to do with him and he’s a gentle giant, but I’m sure he’s a freak in bed.” George chokes, face flushing at the image as he grabs his binder from his locker. “Plus, we know that you’ve had a crush on him since you’ve moved here. What if he says yes?” He asks with a grin.
“He’s going to say no.” George rolls his eyes, shoving the binder into his backpack before zipping it closed. He's not going to let his friend get his hopes up. “I’ve overheard him tell practically every omega at this school that he’s not interested.”

After unsuccessful attempts of trying to get a heat partner, George decides his senior year that he has nothing left to lose and plans to ask his long time crush and alpha quarterback of the football team to see him through his next heat. The only problem is Dream has a known reputation of rejecting any omega that comes his way, George would be no different...
