    Summary

Husk is a down on his luck drunk who’s running out of money and second chances when he lands a job at The Mirage, the last queer speakeasy still standing in 1937 New York City. It’s a decent job and nothing more—until Friday night, when he first catches sight of the club’s star dancer, Angel, and an instant attraction threatens to turn his whole world upside down.

Angel is juggling two lives, a mob boss’s son by day and a cabaret dancer under the thumb of a cruel pimp by night. He loves the crowds, the glamor, the excitement, but he pays a heavy price for all of it, a price nobody but the new bartender seems to see.

Both men have the odds stacked against them, but they can’t help but be drawn to each other. Still, after the cards they’ve been dealt, it’s hard to believe in happy endings. Can coked out whores and washed up drunks like them ever really make it out of the gutter?

A Huskerdust-centric human AU set in 1930s New York.

    Summary

Neteyam Suli, captain of the Montreal Victoire team, hates Ao'nung; a profound and burning hatred that consumes her every move, and perhaps that exists to hide something much more raw and devastating underneath. But Neteyam refuses to think about that.

Ao'nung Tsika'u, captain of the Boston Fleets, could not even pretend to hate Neteyam if she tried. Her desire runs too deep, something that overtakes her every thought. And when Neteyam is sitting right there, at her table after such a devastating loss, looking like something crafted by Eywa herself, it's no surprise Ao'nung cannot compose herself.

One hundred years ago, a young counselor named Aomanu was drowned on the south beach. Now, on the anniversary of that night, the debt comes due.

When a supernatural force begins possessing staff and hunting campers through the dark, Neteyam and Ao'nung are forced to work together to survive. They've spent the last few weeks hating each other. They might not make it to sunrise.

    Summary

Here’s what Jake Sully will never tell you.
Something only he knew while Lo’ak was asleep with Neytiri, cheeks still tear tracked but breathing finally settled.

Things Jake keeps after Lo’ak’s attempt. Things he’ll never talk about because his body likely won’t let him.

Lo’ak is too selfless even in what he thought would be his final moments. He’s just a kid afraid to be an inconvenience.

    Summary

    Two weeks.

Lo’ak spent two weeks thinking. About the feeling of cold metal under his chin. The feeling of leaving something incomplete.

During those two weeks he’d started carving, sat next to the glow of the fire long after everyone had gone to sleep, steadying his hands the way he’d desperately tried to after Neteyam’s death. Two pieces - one for his dad and one for his mom. He wanted them to see him not as the reckless, wild son he’d been, but rather the neat, beautiful carving he would leave them with. It brought him relief, knowing that’s how he could be remembered once they’d weaved it onto their songcord like he’d intended.

Lo’ak always planned to leave, Aonung and his parents won’t have it. Payakan won’t either.
