The Alvarez Empire had been nothing too easy for our beloved wizards to handle. In just HOURS, the war had collapsed into forces, Alvarez or Fairy Tail. The war ragged on but Spriggan 12 had been too powerful. In an instant, a curdling scream erupted the chaos.
Its owner? Lucy Heartfilia limp on the floor.
Natsu was nearby when it happened—head immediately turned to the direction of her."Luce..?" He mumbled, eyes bloodshot red as she fell to the ground with a plop. He turned back around, eyes above to see Zeref; Dimaria appearing behind him in an instant, with a sword drenched in blood. Her blood.

Summary
Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima—all works and characters not mine. Not really great at story telling or writing.
Post-Tartaros Arc focused on Lucy’s adventures during the year, with her improving much stronger than what the original work has done. As much as I like what the anime has done to Lucy, I just thought she would be much stronger, better, more improvement during her time by herself since the anime focused the improvements of other characters.
I also made this to focus on the Alvarez Empire Arc instead of it solely focused on Natsu and Zeref despite a literal war going on. More focus on the arc in general, with (hopefully) almost every character and fight scene getting their recognition.
(I forgot to mention: I started this fanfic when I was twelve or thirteen and it’s been years since I continued. Due to this, the story may drastically change in storytelling after like the 4-5 chapter :P)
