Luke Skywalker is the Imperial High Prince, and he's got a Darksaber to win and a king to kill.When Imperial Prince Luke challanges Din for the Darksaber, Din knows his time is up. Theres no way he can defeat a Sith Lord in single combat.
He's trapped in a wretched situation with no way out. Death he can accept, but he has no idea what awaits him when Prince Skywalker sets foot on Mandalore and becomes obsessed with him.Luke came to the planet to kill a man, but maybe keeping him would be much more satisfying.

Much has already been said of this fighting man’s legend; his heroism, his accidental wisdom, his tortured piety, his solitude and melancholy wanderings. We will not speak of those things tonight. This is only the tale of Din Djarin’s quest to find the beautiful, terrifying Jedi Luke Skywalker and wake him from his decades of slumber. He did not wake the sleeping royal Jedi Master with True Love like some tales claim, nor lust as the bawdier versions of these tales told in cantinas rather than nurseries often suppose. The truth of the matter is at once simpler and more complicated than that.
