Summary
Nearly a century after the last appearance of Sozin’s Comet, thirteen-year-old Fire Prince Zuko is banished by his father and given a near-impossible task: find and capture the elusive Avatar, the Fire Nation’s greatest threat.
After just three months at sea, he discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. To both Zuko’s confusion and frustration, however, the Avatar is nothing at all like he expected him to be.
Why would this boy help him and his uncle escape from Admiral Zhao? Why does he insist on dragging them all over the world to the abandoned Air Temples? Why is he so infuriatingly cheery?
…Why is he beginning to make Zuko question everything he has ever known?
As the weeks go by and the Fire Prince at last learns the truth about the Air Nomads and the War, he eventually finds that he must make a choice that will forever change the direction of his life: his honor, his family, his throne… or the kind and charming boy who has somehow managed to sneak his way into his jaded heart.

Summary
"Waste of time," he mutters under his breath, giving the room a cursory glance. Dusty chair, dusty table—oh look, more dusty fucking furniture. Just like every other room he checked. "Haunted house. Keh. More like… filthy house. What, you've never been introduced to a fucking vacuum? Or a broom?"
The house does not answer. Coward.
((wherein a pissed off Flambae proves to be surprisingly effective against the eldritch (but not against feelings)))

Summary
“Do you hate me?"
Zuko wanted to say yes. It was the obvious answer. Aang was the Avatar. Aang was the enemy. Aang was the one thing keeping him from returning home, from returning to his father’s good graces. He should hate Aang fiercely and openly, and he should have set that entire clearing on fire to get to him and capture him once and for all.
"No,” he said, and was surprised to find it was the truth.
OR What if Zuko and Aang talked at the end of "The Blue Spirit"?
Aang is not twelve. This IS a rewrite of the show, but it diverges more in the Book 3 chapters. Please read the notes before the prologue!
