    Summary

The practice of repairing broken pottery with precious metals. it signified the importance of an item's history and the beauty of imperfections. In one reality, the God Hephaestus experiences such a concept. The melding of Heroic Spirit and Divine Entity creating an impossible miracle. A new God walks the earth...for good or ill. (Will go from Ancient Greece to modern day). For those of you coming from FF, welcome! This is the first story of mine that has been migrated to A03! Hopefully having the story available here will help make the story easier to access, considering Ff.net's reoccurring issues.

Please note, that the categories provided are not solely for the main character (Hephaestus) but are to encompass all the types of relationships that will be explored, viewed, or mentioned for the duration of the story. Enjoy!

“I’m certain once this is over and done with, I’ll be dancing around with bells on my feet.” Nico spits, “Anything must be better than this.”

“You do suffer, Son of Hades,” Hermes reminds him, tucking a strand of hair behind Nico’s ear. “More than was intended. You bring much of this upon yourself. Even now, if you wished it, you could snuff out your own Becoming with a sharp blade and enter your Father’s fields untainted by the prideful immortality you so disdain when you look upon us.”

    Nico frowns.

“Disdain,” Nico hisses, “You truly believe I disdain the gods?"

    Summary

Two worlds. In both Kronos used his last seconds of freedom to curse his children.

In one world Kronos cursed his children with infertility. All their kids would be born still and breathless, or twisted and monstrous with few exceptions. Broken.

In another world Kronos cursed his children to be unable to feel love. To be as cruel and selfish as they accused him of being. Heartless.

A childless Hermes driven by grief steals into the home of the Fates hoping to pilfer any trinket or tidbit that might help break the curse. What he steals instead is knowledge of the existence of the multiverse and how a God with his very specific domains and skills might traverse it.

    Summary

And in his last breath his father said: "You children will be cursed with a fate worse than no other and there will be nothing that you can do that would stop them from experiencing that sadness." Kronos had ignored it, until his youngest son started to desire a family on his own and the curse took root. Sadness befell their world and piece by piece time offered attempting to give his children hope, but eventually even the Lord of time was growing to a limit. In his final moment he spied outward, finding a world so very different to his own, with a him that was not deserving the grand-babies and grand-grand-babies it had, and so Kronos took them all for his own world.

Basically if broken pantheon but Uranus is the one to curse the gods and Kronos is the father that actually rocks. Also I included the omega verse, because fuck it why not, mostly because I wanted the demigods to have animalistic traits to hihi!
