Lucci doesn’t know how it came to this, why he couldn’t get in, kill everyone he needed to kill, get the blueprints and get the fuck out of there. No, instead he has to play nice, get married to the apprentice-almost-like-a-son-heir of the ruler, make sure that he’s also getting the inheritance, which includes the blueprints, and then kill the ruler without anyone suspecting anything about him. Maybe his soon-to-be-spouse too, time will tell.
All because the ruler of Water 7 decided to be stubborn, he didn’t want to hand the blueprints of the ancient weapon to the World Government, nor get be annexed to it, being one of the last islands of the world resisting its influence. If at least the ruler had handled the blueprints, then the Government would have left Water 7 in his hands with little to no intervention, instead it has come to this, and after he’s dealt with, Water 7 will be annexed by force. “What a shame” Lucci thinks with a sinister smile

Manwha and Manhua plot lines about royalty are most fun for me to read. If this story continues, I have a feeling this might become one of my favorite lighthearted things to read when I'm gloomy or something lol.
Haven't watched One Piece properly, but aside from the Crocomom theory and interesting line of children in the Charlotte family, the cast of Water 7, Cipher Pol, what happens in Enies Lobby is what pulls me to read more and more stuff like this. Also, I think Lucci's my favorite character so far for this anime franchise, especially thanks to Hattori and that one meme I saw where Saint Ethanbaron(?) was presenting a Lucci figurine that looked like Luce from the Vatican.

Alcohol is a funny thing - everyone has different reactions to different drinks. Someone who may be able to drink rum from dusk 'til dawn may be on the floor after a couple glasses of wine. A giggly martini-sipper could get weepy while drinking whiskey sours.
Lucci has near superhuman alcohol tolerance, but he's met his match in a batch of cross-pollinated ale.
Trying to save their cover, Kaku agrees to take Lucci home and take care of him. Much to his surprise, Lucci is very affectionate when he's less-than-sober, mainly towards Kaku himself.

That has to be the stupidest name for a guy who isn’t even wearing a hat that Ace has ever heard. It’s definitely fake, definitely come up with on the spot, and it almost makes him so annoyed he stops crying. Ace just glares up at “Hat” through blurry vision instead.(portgas d. ace has an older sibling, who is definitely, one-hundred percent not his little brother monkey d. luffy from the future, because that would be stupid. right?)
