Summary
ISO: Carer to look after my father for 8 weeks this summer.
Dad is 71, early stage Parkinson’s disease, broke his hip 6 weeks ago. No signs of cognitive decline; mostly needs help with household tasks (cooking, light cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping), getting dressed, showering, changing cat litter/general cat care, getting to and from appointments.
Please know what you are getting into; Dad is physically more or less in good health but awful at accepting his limitations, unnecessarily mean, generally uncooperative, and largely nocturnal. Imagine yourself caring for a feral raccoon that is convinced it’s going to write another book, then subtract everything that is cute about raccoons.
$20/hour, roughly 4 hours a day. Must be able to pass a background check and lift 50 lbs. Patience of a saint not required but preferred. -

Summary
Daniel is back to being a struggling journalist after recovering from another drug relapse in his sunset years. He works as a massage therapist to pay the bills between writing gigs. He hopes to impress a new client and secure significant extra income, but gets more than he bargained for when his assumed client directs him to massage his uptight, stressed, and handsome boyfriend Armand instead.
They quickly develop an inappropriate relationship and mutual obsession that goes far beyond the massage table and threatens the familiar, but unsatisfying status quos of both their lives: a stifling relationship as a “kept” boyfriend for Armand and a dead-end career that might not be so dead-end for Daniel.
