Suspicion, grief, and anger are their constant companions as they meet the wizards - especially a certain trio. Nothing is as it seems and as time marches on a bigger mystery is uncovered.

    There's also love. A growing relationship between Percy and Nico.

    "Got plans after this?" The guy asks, smiling at Jake like they met at a bar instead of in a fucking courthouse on a random Thursday morning in October.

    "Are you hitting on my outside of divorce court?" Jake asks with a laugh. The guy really isn't bad to look at, not by a long shot, but Jake's starting to question his sanity — hitting on a fellow aviator is one thing, doing it right now though? A little insane. Maybe a lot insane. But Jake's surprised to find that isn't a turnoff.

    The guy shrugs, still smiling, "I figured there was a good chance you were single. Might as well shoot my shot since we're both sitting here all by our lonesome."

    "It's a good way to get your ass kicked," Jake says, meaning it. This guys lucky Jake's into men and not homophobic like 80% of the people he's dealt with outside of his squad.

    "Don't tempt me with a good time," He says with a wink. "I think I could hold my own against you though."

    "I wouldn't be so sure, maybe I fight dirty."

    "Baby you would never, not with me."

    In high school, Darcy wrote a paper on Steve Roger's WWII pocket watch, detailing the many ways it couldn't be Peggy Carter in the picture glimpsed on an old war film. For starters, Peggy Carter herself denies that it's her, but it seems that everyone- from Darcy's teachers, friends, and even their history books- disagrees.

    After she's thrown back into the past thanks to a magical mishap and a badly timed lab accident, she lives with Steve and Bucky in 1942 for the better part of a year, trying desperately not to change the future. And eventually, she has to admit it's most likely Peggy in the picture. After all, who else could it be?

    Clark had some sort of possessiveness that extended far beyond a human’s. It was a juxtaposition of his superhero personality—that underneath his suit, cape, and glasses, was a man that held such desires that even Bruce hasn’t chipped away at its surface yet.

    Bruce never said anything about it—never brought it up, never discussed how these behaviors could easily cross the line—because maybe it was a certain greed he had that made his heart beat a tick faster. How he got the world’s indestructible man to his knees wrapped around his finger and listened to every beck and call.

    Or, 5 times + 1 where Clark’s possessiveness got to him (not that Bruce is complaining about it).
