Natsuki Subaru was at a loss. Abandoned by the royal candidates, faced by Sloth, and hunted by the White Whale, the boy with the nasty eyes was at a dead end, or so he thought... Now offered assistance by a man claiming to be the Sin Archbishop of Pride, what choice did Subaru have?
Rather than serving as a simple cleanup of the original version, this rewrite is a full reconstruction of the story from the ground up. The core premise remains the same: Natsuki Subaru, cornered by despair after being abandoned by the royal candidates and faced with the impossible threats of Sloth and the White Whale, accepts aid from a man claiming to be the Sin Archbishop of Pride.
But this version aims to make that divergence feel natural to the world of Re:Zero.

What if the cast after arc 9 reacts to the last failed loop? With Subaru?? My mean-eyed goat is cooked!
Though I don’t believe it’d make sense in the main story, I love WHDAA, to the point of making a react fic on Arc 9 haha.

Asa now found herself outside the Public Safety office. Totally inconspicuous, sat on a bench just across the road, donning her school uniform with a convenience store melonpan in hand. A normal student being totally normal.
This wasn’t a last resort at all. She certainly didn’t plan on doing this every day after school in hopes that she would, totally by chance, completely naturally see that boy on his way to or from work—whichever she managed to catch him during.

Summary
Percy was used to people being wary of him and judging him because of his bloodline. The divine world and the wizarding world were much the same. To him, this short trip was simply a way to protect his family. He couldn’t care less about his Hitler grandfather or the old man who had a beard and eyes as bright as stars. The number of people that snake faced man had killed was probably less than the handful of enemies he had killed. Compared to him and the rest of his family, this grandfather seemed like the better person. Demigods aren’t human, and the old headmaster would soon find that out. If he wants to take advantage of him, he’d better brace himself for the inhumanity running deep in their veins.
Harry and his friends have just discovered the secret the Order has been hiding from them: Voldemort’s secret grandson.
