Summary
In the afterglow, Kaveh rests against Alhaitham. He listens to the man’s heart beat, counting the pulses absently while a hand cards through his hair. Lips press sweet kisses to his warm skin, and Kaveh feels more love than he ever had in his miserable life since his father died.
He feels like he is whole. After twelve years, Kaveh’s soul is finally pieced back together.
But reality isn’t kind.
(aka the au where kaveh is a burnt out artist with many hobbies, mental health issues, and no money which culminates in falling for a statue he sculpts, which later comes to life. angst and pining ensues. updates every two weeks)
