(He had no issue with waiting patiently, but providence always seemed to enjoy torturing him, especially in moments that could have been dull and contemplative.)”Henry ends up trapped at the DMV next to Lanyon. The two of them leave without yelling at each other only because it’d be rude to (openly) fight in a packed waiting room. This doesn’t mean that their wait is civil, though.
