Summary
All of us have seen Hollow Knight Time-travel fix-it fics. All of us have seen Hollow Knight Isekai fics. I now combine these two with something darker, something I’ll be keeping close to the chest, in the hopes I can make an actually cool reveal.
Jack was not hero material. He was more computer engineer material. So he’s not the best option to throw into the world of Hollow Knight. But he’s the one that fate - or something darker - chose. With nothing but his wits, the few items from his bedside table, and his knowledge of the game, he has no choice but to set on the journey he’s only ever seen through a screen… though it quickly becomes apparent that this isn’t the same story he’s played through. Something else is pulling on the strings…

Summary
Silksong, as we know, was pretty damn hyped right up until its release. And on the day of September 4th, counting down to that release date, I could not wait to get my hands on that sweet new game. Woke up, biked to school as usual, and - as fate would have it - ended up dying in a ditch when some jerk on a motorcycle crashed into me.
Fortunately, I was still able to play Silksong.
Unfortunately, I was now in Silksong.
So in addition to having to figure out where the hell I was and what the hell my next course of action was, it was now apparently up to me to be Hornet, kick ass and save Pharloom. No pressure.

Her brilliant plan was as follows:
1. Hide right up against the wall next to the door out of the Abyss so the Pale Bellend didn’t see her immediately.
2. When he walked through the door, waste no time in hitting him in the back of the head, or the back of whatever she could reach with her club to stun him and give her more time to enact step 3.
3. Run like hell, and pray that getting unexpectedly whacked in the back of the head stunned him long enough for her to make a clean getaway, since he would presumably be coming down here alone.
4. Make good use of her intangibility to escape and haul ass to the Resting Grounds as fast as possible, putting all her ninja skills to good use in avoiding detection from basically everyone, since she could trust basically no one to not rat her out if the king put a bounty on her head or some shit like that.
She operated under the KISS method of planning. It was an acronym that stood for ‘Keep It Simple, Stupid.’
But then again, no plan survived contact with the enemy.
This was going to suck, wasn't it?
