Summary
Akashi Senju has always felt unexplainable curiosity and attraction towards her older brother's friend, Sano Manjiro. Who wouldn't, right? Manjiro was a prodigy. He was charming, brilliant, and incredibly good-looking. However, she knew- everyone knew that Manjiro had always been displeased by her. The way he dismissed it whenever she tried to interact with him way back when they were still kids- whenever Takeomi would bring her and Haruchiyo along to the Sano Residence. The way his unimpressed gaze would bore into her, making her outrageously nervous and unable to think properly, the way his smile faded whenever she approached them, it was clear that he hated her.
Senju would always wonder why. What did she do wrong? It was hell- loving Manjiro and being hated by him. Until the frequent visits to the Sano Residence became occasional throughout the years, then the terrible news about the passing of Takeomi's childhood friend, Sano Shinichiro shocked everyone. There was no reason to visit the Sano's anymore.
Years passed by and Senju no longer received information about Manjiro's life. Days were empty. Until she found herself under his gaze once more.
