Summary
"... by Eva H.D." You say with a smile, adjusting your glasses. N had asked what the title of the poem was and who authored it. You're always happy to answer his questions.
"Wow! Well uh, that was really, really depressing!" He says with a smile (Not that he really says anything without it), "I can't really imagine being that depressed to come home!"
"I think it's less about coming home," you say, "And more about coming back to a home you don't recognize. Not because it changed, but because you had."
He still smiles but there's a slight falter to his grin.
You stammer: "Or— or that's what how I read it, at least! Maybe it's more about finding the outside world more interesting than home...?"
He puts a hand on your shoulder. "I don't think I'd ever find you boring; no matter how I changed, or how interesting it is outside!"
He stammers and his eyes dart away, suddenly self-conscious. "Or— anyone... Or anything else in the manor!"
You feel relieved, somehow. Like an invisible weight has been lifted off of you. You smile. "Me either."

Summary
At night when V dreams, she dreams of something long dead — she dreams of rain. It reeks of petrichor.
Awake, she's up and about with her would-be victims in the bunker. They don't seem to blame her for anything she did, so why should she? Everything is done. Dead. Buried.
But as V's dreams continue to invade her daily life, questions plague her: Who is that drone? Why doesn't anyone seem to care about the thousands dead? And why does it feel like she's the only one who can't let go?
---
The solver is dead. The newly-crowned power-couple, N and Uzi, become famous overnight. V doesn't want to take any credit, and doesn't get much, despite their efforts.
N, seeing V's very, *very* limited social graph, makes sure to include her in many of his and Uzi's escapades. V isn't bitter to see the ease at which their relationship develops. Not at all.
---
On the broken rubble of the Earth, inside what would be the house of 5647 in Bashirian Drive of Harveycester, North Dakota, there lies a table. On the table is some child's drawings. One of them asks: "Mommy, when are you coming home?"
She's waiting for you.
