    When Alec comes over straight after work that evening, it's to find Magnus and his warlock friends meditating over a plate of General Tso's chicken. It's a really prettily arranged dish, the chicken pieces glazed with a shiny, translucent brown sauce and ringed by a wreath of fresh green broccoli. There are sesame seeds and spring onions sprinkled over top, and the smell is delicious.

    The array and pentagram the plate is standing in the middle of is... not quite so wholesome.

    (This would be a lot easier if their captives weren’t convinced everyone they talk to is dead. It would also be easier if they didn’t spend half their bloody time bickering.)

    “There’s not a single thing that I know about either of them from the first war that any old Death Eater couldn’t find out.”

    “How is that possible?” Malfoy huffs. “He’s your father!”

    There are different love languages, some even very different. Some people like to say ‘I love you’ others prefer gift giving or physical affections like kisses and cuddling.
    Sirius liked all of those… alright, maybe he wasn’t so fond of actually speaking about his feelings, but the rest was definitely something he enjoyed. However, it wasn’t everything because what could be better love language for a Marauder than pranks?
