Summary
Aegon is forced to go to therapy by his family, and his therapist isn’t here to babysit him. She doesn’t respond the way everyone else does to his behavior. She’s gorgeous, she listens, she’s stern without being mean. She’s everything he’s needed but hadn’t known to ask for. Only thing wrong with her is that she isn’t his.

Summary
The bastard known as Meera, "The Flightless Dragon", was born of Lady Misery and Prince Daemon Targaryen. She was one of the only bastards to be named and recognized boy The Rogue Prince. Her exact date of birth is unknown, as is much of her youth. The White Worm was careful to hide the girl until she was a woman grown. Though is said that her famed flesh of the dragon was present even at her birth. Others claim they were the result of blood magic, or some ancient Lysene ritual. Regardless, it was these scales that would later attract the eye of Prince Aemond and the Usurper King Aegon II. Both would pursue her in the interests of claiming their Uncle's bastard as their golden bride.
Though it should be known that women, much like dragons, are not so easily claimed.

"Since the state wasn’t paying for his therapy anymore, the burden had been on them to find someone in their new price range. Eva had been surprised that Kevin was even looking for a therapist, as it wasn’t being mandated, but he was going through the motions now, so he found someone with good reviews and generous pricing and gave his mother the address, and now he had therapy sessions every Thursday (the only open time slot that worked for them, not a gag on his part).
His therapist’s name was Sadie Gilder."
(Author's Note: Like Stephenie Meyer before her, Lionel Shriver has made the mistake of creating interesting characters and putting them in interesting situations but failing to examine her own biases and prejudices while making them, which means I now have to write my way through the frustration. I felt that my OC Sadie seemed like just the lady for this particular job.)
