The question takes Roy off guard.
"You—" he interrupts himself and tries to phrase it in way that doesn't sound like you said you wouldn't smoke in front of me. "You don't usually smoke indoors."
Edward glances at him. "This talk kinda feels like a cigarette talk," he says. "Plus, I know the smell doesn't really bother you."

Summary
The wolf leaves the desk immediately and goes to Stiles, crouching down on the floor and bringing a hand up to cup the boy’s face. Stiles leans into Derek’s palm, looking on the verge of tears from the relief of his touch.
“Did you drive here yourself?” Derek murmurs softly, stroking Stiles’ cheek with his thumb. Stiles’ own fingers loop around Derek’s wrist to keep him where he is.
“Yeah,” he says, voice rough and low. “Dad was working in the next city over. Scott didn’t pick up. It was you I wanted anyway.”
Or, 5 times Derek and Stiles are each other’s comfort person, and one time they’re more.

Stiles buries his head into his boyfriends waist before mumbling, “You know two years ago I thought it was sexy you were building us a house. Now I’m reconsidering if it’s really even worth it. I mean I could probably get used to having to share a bathroom with Jackson and Lydia’s million beauty products. It’s probably not that bad, everyone looks so cozy sharing the couch anyway. What do we even need a house for, or so many rooms, or lamps, and base board moulding, cabinet handles, –”.
Stiles would’ve kept complaining, he had plenty items to list from the never ending to-do Lydia keeps giving him. But he found it hard to stay annoyed with his boyfriend's hand in his hair and feeling the deep rumble in his chest as he laughed at Stiles' misfortune.
OR: Stiles gets a little discouraged when working on the new Hale house and Derek takes a trip down memory lane.

“You’re back,” he said, sounding as surprised as he looked. “I didn’t think you would be.”
“Why not?” Stiles asked, confused and still half-asleep. He yawned as he rubbed both hands across his face again, and then froze at the next words out of Jeremy’s mouth.
“I figured you’d spend the weekend with your boyfriend.”
His what?
“My what?” he asked aloud.
“Your boyfriend,” Jeremy said, tilting his head slightly in confusion. “The angry, overprotective dude who came to get you? You could’ve just told us it was your boyfriend you know, you didn’t have to give us the song and dance ‘he’s my dad’s deputy’ routine. I kind of figured out you were lying about that in first year when you moved in with him for the summer.”
Stiles stared at him, completely flabbergasted about this entire situation.
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
