    The next time the wood lurched, it was vicious enough that Tim would have slid off if he hadn’t been prepared, clutching the handle of his knife. Still, his feet dipped in the water for a moment before he pulled back.
    A splash in the water, a glimpse of scales, splattering Tim with water, and Tim realized abruptly he was being played with. Helpless, on his little floating island. The options were easy to narrow down as to what decided to toy with Tim. Scales were a dead giveaway, since Tim couldn’t think of a fish that would decide to harass him.

     

    A storm leaves Tim helpless, clinging to the wreckage of his boat. It's the perfect opportunity for revenge.
