“I really don't have time for this,” Pantalone sighed, sounding every bit as tired as he felt, addressing the complaint to his own erection as though it were a particularly ill-behaved child.
Casting one last reproachful glare at the offending arousal, as though sheer disapproval might somehow make it disappear, Pantalone grumbled under his breath and made his way to bed.
It'll be fine, Pantalone assured himself as he climbed beneath the covers. He settled carefully behind Dottore's sleeping form. He was certain that the moment his head touched the pillow, he'd be asleep like a corpse anyway—
“…Why are you hard?”
—or perhaps not.

Summary
Dottore fit perfectly within his embrace. The way the other man instinctively wrapped his arms around Pantalone’s shoulders—it felt perfect.
It would have been even more perfect if his nose had not caught the trace of an unfamiliar scent lingering on Dottore’s clothes. There was a scent there that definitely did not belong to Dottore. Pantalone would know, because every cologne and perfume Dottore owned had been chosen or gifted by him, and this was definitely not one of them.
“Ugh. You reek of them. I don’t like it,” Pantalone grumbled into the fabric against his face, pressing his nose further into the silk.
“Fufu— jealousy is unbecoming of you, Feofan.”

Summary
After being ‘saved’ by the IPC, Aventurine has become a permanent presence in the Interastral Space Lab. Though the Doctor he was assigned to initially was a cold and professional man, his avoidant attitude melted into something much softer when the threat of another’s experiments cast a shadow upon his plans.
Nursing Aventurine and earning his trust was Dr. Ratio’s best chance at finding out what made the Omega so sensitive to their heat suppressants - ultimately nullifying the negative side-effects for the Beastkin race.
But would Aventurine be forced to go through his heat agonized by their experimentations, or would the helpful Doctor find a quick solution first?
It seemed like such a small price to pay for his own freedom.

So, he rolls the dice.
“You caused this, you know,” Aventurine raises the stakes to the ceiling, baits the player with a card he would not have shown if it weren’t for how desperate he was. He’s a lucky man; Ratio is steeled in his spot, unable to look away. “Won’t you take responsibility of me, doctor?”
Ratio swallows. "I did this to you?”
“Nobody else,” He sighs, beckoning him with a single motion. Ratio is right where he wants him—hook, line, and sinker. “Aren’t you special, inducing an omega’s heat without lifting a finger.”
Aventurine had never felt much like an omega, disconnected from the mere notion when there were other pressing matters at hand. It stuns him, of course, when the dormant animal finally begins to speak—in the middle of kissing one handsome doctor.
(Perhaps it's because he lacks the knowledge of what other factors can affect an omega’s heat, that he throws himself straight into one.)
