“I said the same thing! C’mon, Kimmie, you know that’s just not my style. Or something I’d even steal.” Shego rolled her eyes. This was ridiculous. Did they really think that, if they ever caught her, it’d be over shoplifting?
Kim sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. “Doesn’t matter what I believe. You were caught, Shego. I don’t even know why I’m here.”
“Actually, princess, what you believe matters a great deal.” Shego leaned closer and lowered her voice. “I kinda told them that you’re my girlfriend and that you’d vouch for me.” She leaned back sheepishly.

“What is wrong with you?” The once booming voice is now shaky and quiet, barely perceptible. Tori opens her eyes slowly, confused on why she’s still able to even open her eyes.
“W-what?” Tori cocks her head, the scene in front of her far from what she expected. Jade, always hardened, tough, and angry, is now seemingly trying to glare at her to death, except her shining eyes make it hard to feel fear. Tori’s stomach drops. ‘No, no, no, I made Jade cry’.
Or Jade confronts Tori on why she thought it was okay to bribe someone to date her and it doesn’t go how either thought.

The second the words leave her mouth, Amanda’s fingers press slightly harder into her thigh. Not enough that anyone else would notice. Just enough that Angela does.
Angela’s breath catches. Her head snaps towards Amanda’s instinctively. Amanda’s gaze is still fixed on her phone. Completely casual. Except for the fact that Angela feels the subtle increase in pressure against her leg. Feels Amanda’s fingertips sink just slightly into the soft flesh of her thigh. And when Amanda finally glances up from beneath her lashes for half a second, her eyes are darker than they were a moment ago.
Darker and warmer and something else.

Clark’s brows furrow for half a second. Lena’s nearly meet her hairline. “Yes.” He finally says, “Ms. Luthor, how are you?”
“Good.” Lena swallows. Confused, but good.
