Gwayne Hightower is summoned back to Kings Landing, and forced to endure the wrath that is his father, Otto Hightower.
Tension grows between Rhaenyra and her father, she refuses to marry and becomes increasingly reckless.
By all plain reasoning, Gwayne Hightower and Rhaenyra Targaryen should hate eachother. But they just keep getting drawn in by some mutually shared sense of longing to not be alone. After betrothal arrangements are made for the both of them, they find they are running out of time to confess to one another.
