Summary
After the Trial of the Seven, Prince Aerion finds himself at the mercy of Myssandre, a healer woman with annoyingly unwavering morals, when Maekar struggles to find a Maester to care for his wounds. Incapacitated and in pain, Aerion is forced to confront feelings he'd been repressing, challenging things he'd thought long settled within himself, and must now learn to juggle them along with the growing affections he develops for his carer.
As he finds himself falling deeper and deeper, the dragon prince begins to fear losing her, what with her seemingly indifferent demeanor towards him and his impending exile to Lys, the Brightflame devises plans to ensure that he can keep his healer close.

After Bilbo rescues her from the goblins and brings her along on the quest to get back Erebor, Serina, a young half mermaid, reveals to the other that she has the power of the Siren Call.
This greatly scares the other members and so she must show them that it is no more than a little trance spell, and not some mind-control ability she has. Of course, who else could be a better subject to test this than the handsome crown prince and nephew to the king of Erebor, Fíli.However, things take a serious turn when she starts to believe that perhaps her powers are more than what she had thought them to be when the prince starts acting... differently around her.
Could she have accidentally cursed Fíli Durin to fall in love with her?

Summary

Dunk had continued up the King’s road alone, no plans really, only to see where it took him, when he’d felt it.
A swirl of heat low down in his belly, a warmth that refused to dissipate and only grew, raking along his limbs and making his hands shake, sweat breaking out along his back. His eyesight sharpened, eyes watering even in the dull light. So did his sense of smell, the tang of pine and freshly ploughed soil blowing off the fields and settling in his lungs. He was coming into rut. Bollucks.
In which Dunk comes into rut unexpectedly and seeks refuge at Storm's End.
