The silent, collected Rosalina and the vibrant, snarky Pauline couldn't be more different. Indeed, the two don't seem to have much in common.
Yet, as they become more acquainted, new feelings and emotions, new experiences, and new fears for the future transpire between them.
Where will this path lead? As Rosalina would say: "Only the stars above truly know..."

Summary
The Greatest Karting Tournament in History has just concluded, Bowser's Trial has ended and the Mad Koopa has finally been put aside; his threats torment the Mushroom Kingdom no longer. As it feels like the worst is behind her, the now-Queen Peach Toadstool resumes rule over the Mushroom Kingdom, though it is a far more modernised and commercial world than everyone believed it to be.
The consequences of hosting such a glorious event and thriving through this new Era has become detrimental. The Mushroom Kingdom is bankrupt, rates of violence are skyrocketing, inequality is immense, and Peach's own rates of approval by her people begin to plummet. Scandals appear in the masses, new enemies appear in the shadows and conflict both out in the lands and deep within breeds catastrophe. Will Peach be able to handle this, and will she put relationships with her friends aside to save the Mushroom Kingdom from itself, for the greater good?
Mostly Peach-centred, with lots of inclusion of Daisy, Rosalina, Bowser, various Toads, the Mario brothers and many, many human, Toad and Koopa OCs to help shape the landscape of this dystopian, near-cyberpunk world developed through a mixture of modernisation and magical development.

Summary
Long before the events of Skyward Sword, the Harbinger of Demise unleashed his demonic forces from Naraka on the world created by the Golden Goddesses.
