Summary
This is an AU where some stuff happened differently than the cannon show. First of all, Thace was able to escape from the explosion mostly unharmed. Secondly, it wasn't Shiro's clone that got out it was the real Shiro, hooray! Finally, The comet retrieval mission takes an ugly turn when the communication line crackles in and out when they are trying to listen the Shiro's voice.
This is my first fan fiction about Voltron and on this site, so I hope you enjoy. Also, constructive criticism is always welcome. :3

Summary
Grace had "made peace" with the fact that he was going to live out the rest of his days on Erid inside a biodome, never seeing or interacting with another human person again. It was a small price to pay for saving the life of his best friend and an entire planet of intelligent life.
Simon had "made peace" with the fact that he was going to die at the bottom of the blood ocean, alone in the dark with no hope of escape. Because not everyone gets to be saved.
Neither of them expected fate to intervene on their behalf.
After being rescued by an Eridian survey team, Simon is trying to find his footing in a place that challenges everything he knows. Meanwhile, Grace wants to solve the mysteries surrounding this handsome stranger sharing his living space. But both of them might find a lot more than they were expecting with one another.
In the end, "making peace" is just something you say.

Summary
After months of having dreamless, calm nights since he settled in Erid, Grace is surprised to dream of vague red scenes that feel incredibly real. When he brings something back from the dream one night, he realizes that it may not just be a trick of his unconscious.
But the submarine that resides in the bottom of the blood ocean isn't the only thing he vividly experiences, and he must face the reality with a man who seems to be suffering the fate of these dreams for a long time.Grace wants to save him, just like he saved the stars. He hadn't predicted that Simon would end up saving Grace instead.
Tl;dr - Grace appears to be taken into Simon's reality whenever he sleeps.

The Pheonix program, for all it's intentions, was not taken seriously by the Z-Team, least of all by Sonar. But, once it's becomes clear their newest dispatcher is more than ready to push back against them, the bat hybrid comes to realise that chances are running out. And maybe, if this Robert can make a bunch of villains get it together, he might be able to help with the rest of his problems.

The Z-Team didn’t like Robert.
They were villains. They were fuck ups. They each had a giant chip on their shoulders that barely let them stand next to each other on a good day. As soon as his voice first came on the group call, they had to give him shit. If they didn’t start harassing him, the Blonde Boss Lady would have benched them thinking they were being mind controlled.
Every handler thought they could “handle” the Phoenix team. Tame them, make them palatable, water them down. Turn them good. So they didn’t like Robert.
But they did like his voice.
