There he was, the lead act had called out that a man was struggling. Rumi could see him now, clutching desperately at his chest and wheezing as he went down.

Their third hasn’t been found years in but on some random blustering November day a man collapses during a set and a woman with patterns launches into action so fast they can’t even process what’s happening. Or that this demon seems to be channeling the honmoon into her medical care. Rumi just wants to keep doing her wildly traumatizing job why do these two women think she wants to join their K-pop band?

Which of course cycled back to her horrible stupid idiotic life. In no way should a human have been able to see her let alone address her. Then again, she supposed even as she fought to swallow the lodge in her throat, this particular human shouldn’t have been able to see the faceless that she’d been consuming either.
Or; the girls accidentally acquire a pet. The pet put herself here. She’s happy. Leave her alone.

Apparently choosing to not comment on it for the time being the taller alpha leaned down clearly intending to greet Rumi first and foremost and Rumi sat up a bit straighter letting her phone drop into her lap as she tipped her head to offer her neck-
The rumbling snarl had all three of them freezing in place.
”Uh?” Zoey said very slowly, pulling her hands away from the tiger’s head. He had moved it just out of her reach to press his muzzle closer to Rumi and was staring up at Mira with decidedly less stupidity than he normally did. Worse than all of that his teeth were far bigger than they usually were and they were also decidedly fully bared. “Derpy?”

It wasn't exactly good friend etiquette to make bets about your friend’s potential cryptid-ness. Right? She figured it couldn't have been but then again she wasn't entirely sure what anyone else would have done in this situation. The gloves are exactly the right size when she’s eight, and a little small at ten. Age eleven, the first chill breeze slinks through the garden with dead leaves in its mouth like a grey street cat, unbidden, proudly feral. Rumi can’t get her gloves on. The narrow bite of the opening tight around her knuckles.
It’s a silly thing to cry about but it feels—it feels—oh she doesn’t know.
