But he has a secret that he has kept from them all, a secret that he never ever wanted them to know, because he was fine being viewed as he had been for this long.
But the symptoms acted up right when his friends were in front of him and it gets revealed as they realised that Jaune Arc needed more than just their support.

One by one each gal lives it out and develops newfound feelings as well as burning desires to chase the blonde doofus and charm him into marrying them and fulfilling that dream fueled reality they experienced. Summary
Normal world, normal rules. That was what Jaune lived by, whether he liked it or not.
Sure, he'd like to be some hero, but it's not like there was some massive army of monsters of anything, or some grand antagonist. So Jaune decided to become a hero like his father was- a fire fighter! To start, he would get a degree in fire science and obtain the necessary certifications at Beacon!
Everything was going well, so... what's that weird screen in the sky?

Summary
Ruby enters the stairwell to surprise an exhausted Jaune going to the training halls, blocking the exit with her body. She knows Jaune doesn’t want to talk to her or is suppose to talk to her, but she just needed to see him. The small leader of RWBY tries to plead her case and clear up the misunderstanding, hoping to renew what they had. But, Jaune rebuffs her, it doesn’t matter that it was a misunderstanding, it doesn’t change what Yang did nor the rumors that started because of it, he just wants to move on. It sends Ruby into a fury, always babied, always protected. What if she doesn’t need protection? Ruby lashes out at Jaune, the flames feed on each other until Ruby pushes too far and can’t stop herself.
