Summary
15-year-old Louis spends a month in France as part of a student exchange and stays with the Lioncourt family. He and Lestat immediately become friends, then best friends, and then more than friends.
When something unexpected happens, they start talking less and less and eventually go back to strangers. That is until Louis finds out that Lestat is moving to the US for college. There’s no chance that they both end up living and studying in San Francisco.
But that’s exactly what happens, against all odds.

Summary
This series will feature stand-alone AMC show cannon-compliant (AFAIK pre-S3) short stories from 1911-2026, mostly from Lestat’s POV. It will cover parts of Loustat’s courtship, the unholy family era, what Lestat was up to after Mardi Gras leading up to the Paris trial, post-trial up to the San Francisco interview, and up to the Dubai interview.
The timeline may jump around a bit, but each piece is connected through Lestat’s reflections, regrets, and hopes. You won’t need to read them in order to follow his emotional journey, and he’s got a lot to learn.
This is the same Loustat from A Capacity To Endure reunion fic.

Summary
Lestat put an overwhelmed arm in front of his face as he chuckled. “Is that all you like about me?” He teased.
“Love all of you,” Louis said just to see Lestat blush.
And it worked, Lestat’s face turned a beautiful pink as he put his arm down. He squirmed in embarrassment, which made Louis laugh. Even though Lestat clearly loved when Louis expressed his love for him so outwardly, he also became quite shy in the face of it.

Louis clicks on the link with shaky fingers.
He only manages to read Lestat de Lioncourt spotted having a steamy makeout session under the Tuscan sun with in the split second before a pop-up ad obscures the headline, and the cover photo loads.
It’s a pixelated shot of two people locked in an intimate embrace on a small, vaguely familiar balcony with a wrought iron balustrade. The first person, who’s facing the camera full-on and smirking indulgently, is Lestat. The second person, draped against Lestat’s chest with their back to the camera, completely naked down to their bare feet except for a pair of maroon boxers, is Louis.
Prompt: Rockstat and actor Louis going through multiple public breakups and getting back together.

Louis tries to speak. It comes out a whine instead, breath catching as Lestat’s thumb presses gently into the swollen flesh along his lower gum.

With his eyes, Lestat manages to convey that a top one hundred would be insufficient to capture the magnitude of Daniel’s literary sins, but with his mouth he says, “I am not here to pick over what has already been said. If that is how Louis sees things, that is how he sees them.”
