Summary
Buck tugged at his wrists again, feeling the recognizable stickiness of the tape now holding his hands together. Fuck. This wasn’t good.
He’s wearing a striped shirt he doesn’t recognize and his jeans look lighter than the pair he put on this morning... at the motel... Eddie.
His heart rate skyrocketed as he tried to remember what happened, how he got there, but more importantly where Eddie was. He felt too weak and sluggish to turn around to see if Eddie was in the same situation as him behind him, but fuck, he really hoped Eddie was okay.
That Eddie was far, far away from whatever was happening here.

Summary
“Buck!” Eddie has finally reached his goal, finally able to breathe. Or not? Why is Buck just standing there unresponsive? “Buck..?” Eddie asks cautiously, almost unsure if to approach him. Finally, Buck looks at him in the eyes, a hint of recognition there but not fully processing.
“Buck?” Eddie asks again.
“Buck…Who’s Buck?” Buck asks back and isn’t that ironic.
“What do you mean who’s Buck? C’mon man, it’s you!” Eddie presses, heart speeding up, something is wrong.
“No…n-no no I…I’m De-Derek.” Buck stammers out, slightly unsure and what.
OR: What if Eddie takes longer to find Buck. What if Bonnie does convince Eddie to leave and Buck is left being Derek. Will Eddie be able to find his best friend? And if he does will he still be Buck or will he be Derek now? Also, Harley was having a bad day, he's not actually a bad guy, Eddie and he make a good duo.
Recommend reading 9x13 first before reading this, but can still be read without watching it.
